Halo would be the king of fps shooters in terms of sales on one console...no COD game is going to top halo 3 on a single console, lets face it
well halo is the best shooter franchise, and cod is very close. but your talking shooter franshice based on sales. and of course cod is a damn fine game and will sell a lot because its so easily acessable for all players and has a fab online, thats also easily acessable.
but a more important question is what is your fave shooter franchise.

Too much "what if" speculation in this thread. Halo 3 sold 2 million more than CoD4 on the 360, but CoD4 in total tops it by 2 million thanks to the PS3. They're both massive, end of story! Face it, we have no clue how Halo 3 would fare on the PS3.
Also, there were lots of comments regarding the games sales, and stating "it's that good" (referring to word of mouth, legs, in sales). Well, I'm glad we all agree the Wii has some of the best titles this gen.
