Jumpin said: Potentially yeah, I can see the Wii doing it.
The Xbox 360 and PS3 pricedrops are an indication of their devaluation; I do feel the Wii is more valuable a console to many more people than the PS3 or Xbox 360 because it's a console for anyone. The Xbox 360 is easily aimed at male teenagers who are still young enough to think "hardcore" things and blood are cool, while the PS3 is aimed mostly at people in their 20's. The Wii has a clear lock on the mature gamer and family markets. |
The 360 is aimed at American males, and those not in the Wii's target zones. The PS3 targets the exact same age category, with a particular focus on those who snub American products.
Your post reveals your fanboyism, the PS3 and 360 target identical groups. What does the PS3 have to target older people than the xbox?
As for the Wii having a "clear lock on the mature gamer." What? Studies show that most "mature gamers" who own a Wii keep it in a closet. Some women(many of which use things like Wii Fit, and not games at all) and mostly young kids are the ones that play it all the time.
