Forums - Sony - Apparently PS3 owners really like their Diesel jeans

Made them more money than the video download service because they have to pay fees to the company that produced the video and they only get a small percentage of that. Assuming they probably get far greater percentage per item sold, that has a real world equivalent, they could potentially make much more money.

I'm pretty much going to stick with the winnable stuff and stuff that will come from future games :P I'm not trendy enough to purchase name brand crap xD Although, once the music, video, picture ability comes into play, I'll probably spend on those for sure. That and I'd probably shell out for seasonal stuff ^^ At least the hats :P I wouldn't mind running around with a santa hat ^_^

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

Kinda cheating though since the Video Store is only available to seven million or so people, while Home is available to 18 million.

But I did buy some Home stuff. Spent three bucks.

Bought a Christmas tree for 99c, a suit for 1 buck, and a glasses for 50c and some shoes for 50c.

I look hot too.

I was going to buy some of the diesel shirts, but I'm buying the LBP MGS4 DLC today.

I love diesel jeans. I won't pay for a virtual one though lol

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

ka-ching! ka-ching!

trust stupid consumers to buy anything.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

Its like I said - Sony's plan is milk their "small" userbase for as much as they can. It looks like they want to pay (for everything), so every game from now on with have chargeable DLC.

Rather than have a "big" userbase, paying a "small" amount - they want a "small" userbase paying a premium amount.

Good on 'em.

wow $0.99 is so expensive. if u r going to talk trash please have better logic.

There's things that cost more (just look at the santa constume)...

The Santa Costume only costs a lot if you buy the whole thing.  Each part is only 99 cents.  Hat, Shirt, Gloves, trousers, boots.  Therefore it's a dollar.

And I've spent 5 bucks in worse ways, so it seems fine to me.  Just eat McDonalds one less time a month, or don't go out to dinner one less time a month and save thirty bucks.

I don't mind paying a few euros or so for a nice pretty unique dress and jewellery for my girlfriend's virtual avatar if she likes them. I'm not that poor.

Those Namco virtual arcade machines with pacman, galaga, xevious and such look interesting. Wouldn't mind spending a few bucks on those if they are well done and I can keep them inside my Playstation Home.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

Euhm Shams this is nothing more than what MS was doing/still doing with charging for gamerpics/themes etc.

Maybe people so eager to look beautiful and fancy in a virtual world look crap in the real one (*)... Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to be so nasty... NOT!!!

(*) edit, just in case: present company excepted
