i could say the 360 and ps3 are not gaming consoles but multimedia machines or cheap game centric pc's for those who can't afford one.. anyway who gives a fuck really..

I have enjoyed watching the evolution of the Wii naysayer. Now the only thing left is "Wii doesn't count."

And I've always been amused by the "Wii is not next Gen". Well, yeah, you are right, it is current gen, just like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are. Yes, yes, it's not powerful enough for your taste. Well, power, nor your personal opinion, determine the definition of generations. Nor does your taste in games.

Heh, but now, it's not the next gen arguement, it's "Wii is a gadget". Fun, fun.

Oh noes. I can't be a real gamer unless I game on a real console. Gepetto, make me a real gamer. The gaming elite says I can't join their super elite club with my go-go-gadget Wii.

Why, world, why? Why is it that my console has almost twice as many as either of the other two but my console is the one treated as an outcast, an afterthought, a toy, an illegitimate entry? Why I ask you, why?

Did we do something wrong? Do we not deserve to take a place among the consoles of the past? Are we not gamers too?

Do we not game among you? Why must we be relegated to second hand status? Such oppression by the elite minority.

I admit it. I game on the Wii and I'm proud of it. I am a gamer and I waggle with honor.
