Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has better graphics. =)
GT5 will have even better. :)

OT: I as many others have played GT5 P, it looks nothing close to these OVERSAMPLED shots. LOL

selnor, the 2nd part of screenshots is without oversampling.
So it doesn`t matter, GT5P looks BETTER then Crysis. =)

Gran Turismo 5 is a good looking game, but we're really starting to compare apples to rocks now ...

It is possible to exploit the limitations in how a game is played in order to maximize the overall appearance of a game; certain genres (like fighting games and racing games) have many more potential exploits than other genres. Even within a genre two games can have very different requirements which enable one game to look better while using fewer resources; and example of this was FEAR, a game with environments more static than early doom clones which enabled them to pre-calculate all of the lighting and drastically improve the overall appearance.

Now, I don't know how dynamic the environments in many of the games being compared to Crysis are but being that Crysis' environments are (pretty much) entirely dynamic and there is (pretty much) nothing that can be exploited to improve the visuals it is a technical marvel.

It`s a CGI quality, yes, BUT not photorealistic.

^ The the most laughable quote Ive ever heard. I have played and logged more than 15 hours on GT5 P. It's nowhere near Crysis on mates PC. LOL You definately are the blindest fanboy Ive seen.

Hell I love 360, and thus far Gears 2 is best console graphics this gen. But it's no Crysis. You clearly have never witnessed Crysis on a uber PC on Ultimate settings. LOL.

To be honest, I'm not impressed by Crysis's graphics anymore :P They used to be like, leaps and bounds above anything we had seen on consoles, but now, eh... Not so much. Crysis is still a damn good looking game, but it's not that much better than the top tier graphic titles for the 360 or PS3 :P

@Selnor, do you even know what your talking about with all the Direct X babble >_>? Your acting like something having Direct X 10 23463209284.2365497r4 x 4 or whatever the hell they're on now instantly makes a game some masterpiece to the eyes. How are games like Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 (or 1 for that matter), GT5 or whatever other console game that put out insane graphics while at the same time giving Direct X 10 the big fatty doing so well on a technical level?

Who cares if we don't have the solid "figures" to back up some preposterous claim like "well we play games in teh 28734978234x103498761348907523 resolutions". If your games don't look that much better than ours (which they don't), then what's the big ass number for? Direct X (???), resolution of 8,000,0000x123,234,634,3434. It doesn't matter :/ Crysis isn't that much more impressive to warrant jealousy.
