No you have to use the same card even a better more overclocked 260 gtx wont do you anygood because the highest performing card will always scale back to an even level of the lowest performing card.

Looks amazing, on the other hand I sometimes suppose these shots that are available on the internet have been rendered for 5 minutes with settings that are not even remotely possible to be played in realtime. Everytime I see the game in action in a video it doesn't look even REMOTELY like that. (Oh and the errors in the first image are a nice touch)

I mean I watched the gametrailer review again and seriously whatever settings they choose it still looks nice but not even remotely barely close to the screenshots that are always thrown around. I would say Uncharted, Killzone2, Gears2 ... look pretty much as good.

Or even the launchtrailer from the producers themselves.

The jungle may look amazing, but everytime you see people walking around or buildings its not that godly anymore. Crytek really is amazing at making jungles though.

What errors are you referring to, please ? (i can't see them)

All the screenshots i posted in this page (there are 6 of them) have been taken from my PC with my gaming settings. I mean i play with the settings i used to make the screenshot.

In fact, if you save the photos on your PC, you will see in the upper right corner the overlay of FRAPS (which i did use to take the screenshots) ;)))))

As i mentionned earlier, in motion these scenes are far more prettier than the screenshots make them look like.

The basic layout of threads like these:

1. Crysis graphics > any console gaphics this gen eva!!11!
2. No they're not have you seen so and so?!?!
3. *pictures/videos of console games*
4. *pictures/videos of Crysis* (major pwning occurs in this step)
5. Yeah well..... know how much it's gonna cost you to run it like that?
6. Screens/videos from a personal computer which was built for a cheap price (pwning 2 happens here)
7. Another blind fanboy walks in and not having read the thread goes back to step 2.

P.S. The PS3's RAM is waaaay too limiting for it to push something even close to what Crysis is pushing.

i agree with the drivers, i'm running everything maxed out/no aa/1680x1050 @ 15-30 fps with an e2140@2.8GHz/4gigs ram/stock 8800gt.  gonna install CCC in a bit and see how well it does.

I was referring to the original posting which had in the first image some weird triangles instead of a ?rock?. I can believe that your screenshots are real-time. They are to be honest far less impressive than most other screenshots I have seen in this thread or on the internet. They look very good but they do not exactly destroy all other games



And honestly I find it hard to believe that. Until now screenshots looked much better than any motion video I have seen. Damn I need a strong PC to try this out.
