So there's another verse that forbids it.

Well yeah, but that verse basically disqualifies most of the Earth too.

Wow, news to me.  I've known a lot of Jewish people and never seen one of them who actually followed this or heard of any of them following this.  Must be something they don't mention that often since it isn't exactly a dinner table topic.

If the above mentioned peoples become Christians, then they're not considered adulterers and so forth (or so, according to my own theology).  Even better for them if Calvinism is true (which, I must say, is not).
