Yea but the funny thing is, Bethesda said "No" to a mandatory install.

I have no idea. I didn't install it, maybe there is an option too, but I didn't see one.

Then Bethesda lied. Just type Fallout 3 mandatory install and you will find hundred of links saying Fallout 3 will not have mandatory install...
