I can't say I have been impressed with the sales of COD WAW for the wii, 250k in 5 weeks running up to Christmas isn't magic that's for sure. Does this mean the end of COD on the wii or do lower dev costs mean we'll get a yearly release like the HD consoles?

The way I see it is that the Wii will get Modern Warfare 2 but they aren't going to get an Infinity Ward game. I bet Activision farms this out to Treyarch.

If Infinity Ward knows whats right for them they should develop a COD game on the Wii version. Wether COD WAW will be flopped or not.

AW JEEZ, I think its not because of the demographics or if core gamers prefer the PS360 more is the problem why 3rd parties dont want to make core franchises such as FPS on the wii. They just dont want to do it, they dont want to make a game on the Wii. Its just simple.

What we just must do was to wait if COD WAW will sell or not, (and with Activision doing to this version like not hyping this till E3 2008 even the other versions are hype more), and to wait if Activision will force to make games on the Wii. Theres no other way, just look at Red Steel its a million seller even some says it have bad controls. But still the Wii have lack of FPS...

I think we dont even need to do our part, 3rd parties still keeps ignoring the Wii even how much we convinced them. What we must do was to wait and see how it unravels. Cant wait till 2009 and 3rd parties kneel to their knees :)

You're like the mirror opposite Bruce on Games. You're just as nuts with your predictions of doom and gloom, but you just throw it in the other direction. You have nothing to back up your statements. We went over this in the other thread and you decided to back out instead of addressing the argument I put forth after you made the rediculous claim that GTA IV didn't turn a profit. Infinity Ward will be fine. COD4 sold probably close to 13 million after PC sales. Do you really think this is a developer that is going to "kneel down on their knees" by the time 2009 is done? Get real.

I do hope for a Wii version, and I do hope it's Infinity Ward making it and making it to the fullest of their abilities, but you using your want for the game to fuel these delusions are just rediculous.

I think 3rd parties will start to realise that wii can be the cash cow they need, not only via shovelware but with low(er) cost big name franchises. They can't afford to be another Factor 5 / Free Radical.
