In the days when it was a safe bet that Rare would absolutely kick the arse off of any developer and give the mighty Nintendo a run for the money. A day when Rare would make superior games than Konami, Insomniac and the like. They created a game which was probably arguably the greatest 2d platform game ever. (also Mario World and Mario Bros 3 are in with a shout to.)

Quick question, is Donkey Kong a really thick monkey or a gorilla?

 He is a gorilla. But DKC had also argueably the best music of any game to. I'm with you. Time to dig out my snes me thinks.

So if Donkey Kong is a gorilla then how is he related to Diddy Kong? Isn't Diddy a monkey? I'm dissappointed in Rare now. They can't even keep a sense of reality in their primate simulation games. How are kids ging to learn anything?
