hopefully not in any way like ffx2 x_X combat in that game sucked... well the game generally sucked but combat was a big reason i quit.

The hell? X-2 probably had the best time based battle system an FF game has had. The rest of the game, however, was pretty horrendous.

It looks awesome! I can't wait to see it in motion, I read somewhere it's like a really fast paced turn based battle system.
Wow. Looks great. I always thought XIII looks much better than Versus but after the impressions I heard from people who have visited Jump Festa and after these scans .. geez, cancel Versus and just finish this game.
one thing I don't understand is that some PS3 fans try to down play the graphics . but the forget that this is what FF XIII would look like if it was still exclusive to PS3 cause the development of X360 version hasn't even started.
So what you see in those pictures are the result of SE focusing on PS3 hardware.
