Someone else has a Wii remote, and they use it to guide your body so that you correctly guide Mario in the game.

You play with wiimote and nunchuk, and another person has another wiimote to help you with.

......Wow. Are you kidding me?

 Is that...is that a bad thing...?

You run around with the joystick, and you grab stars and manipulate objects using the Wiimote's pointer.

You can do all that by yourself, you're a big boy.

But a 2nd player can help by doing the pointer function as well, so they can grab stars, freeze enemies, etc, to help you out.  It's not mandatory, it's a bonus addition for those who would like to do something minimal to help out instead of sitting on the couch watching an essentially 1 player game.

Okay it's time we start proof reading the title of our threads.

Yeah like Ben said its not mandatory, so if you don't like it, its just playing a regular Mario game.

It's just an extra function that doesn't hurt the game, while helping add pseudo co-op play.

Montana worded it wrong, so I thought maybe Montana had the wrong idea of how the controls work...but I'd like to hear from Montana...ehhh whatever.

Besides Soriku...how have you NOT seen the E3 footage of Mario and his Bee suit, and him jumping around planets? They explain everything about the controls, and it looks gorgeous...do you live in a hole?
