Forums - Gaming Discussion - Stranglehold PS3 release date is now pushed back "unknown amount of time"

More than anything, this is yet another example of a de-facto timed exclusive for the 360, and this is the biggest one yet.

I dont see strangle hold as a great game to get, I might get it though since it is a much better value than the 360 version.

why?

I know precisely what he's talking about, and it's not really a better value.

The PS3 version and 360 version both retail at 59.99. The PS3 has a "Special edition" where the original movie also comes with game, at 69.99. If you feel the movie is worth 10 bucks, then it is a better value.

It's definitely a better value, the movie is great and it's a bluray movie for 10 bucks...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The delay only effects Europe, in the US it's still coming out on September 17.

The movie is awful. That's my opinion, you have yours.

Interesting, this would suggest that it isnt' a coding issue. Can anyone hypothesize why this would be so? Translations perhaps?

The movie is a classic. But it's still worth about 10 bucks. no way it's worth 20 but then again I don't collect movies.

The movie is a cool offer, but I still don't think I will pick this game up.

Very bizarre that the delay is just for Europe.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
