Gist of the article: A program has been made that interprets brain data and produces and image based on what is going on inside the brain. By showing images to people, the program was able to create images  of what the subject was looking at (though blurrier than the original). This could be used to visualize hallucinations or dreams in the future.

hmm That's kind of... freaky. There is the "people can see what I dream, they shouldn't see that stuff" problem, but I think it'd be pretty cool to know what you dreamt when you can't remember it. :)
