Why not wait till something good comes out.. Good games will come out for the PS3 and hopefully an actual price drop for the 80gig.
@Hus - Falcon 360's with HDMI and 65mn chip have already started appearing in circulation.
If you see a 360 box with "Support HDMI" then it's a falcon...

Um, I'm thinking if you want a 360, now IS the time to buy a 360. It's cheaper now, and the RROD is a KNOWN issue. Comeon, you all know Microsoft by now. New patches fix old bugs and introduces new bugs. Why would their hardware be any different? What new issue is going to show up in the Falcon systems that won't be covered by the 3 yr warranty because it isn't a RROD?
On the PS3 - Wait. In '08, you can pick up the same PS3 with a 60 GB drive and the emotion engine, lots of exclusives and probably a bunch of games tossed in for free off of eBay for less than $500 (used). Much better deal
