:0 uh-oh!

I'm surprised by the score, famitsu Efin' overrates every RPG game they score.:(

Speaking seriously though, speaking seriously:

Who cares? When have reviews ever been a good metric for the quality of JRPGs? I mean, really.

In case you didn't know, but the latest Level 5 console games got high reviews from Famitsu (Rogue Galaxy: 36/40, Dark Cloud 2 35/40) and if I see someone writing that the single player only takes 30 hours... Well, just to give an example, I'm over 30 hours in Valkyria Chronicles and still 6 chapters to go... 30 hours in a RPG is ridiculously short. Folklore takes about 25-30 hours to complete, and that's just an adventure, but not an epic RPG!

What I was expecting? A 100+ hour single player epic RPG, which blew away every single critic out there. Why else are we waiting 1,5 year longer for this game and why else did I buy a PS3 for?!

Of course I'll wait for the Western reviews, but thanks to Famitsu this game has dropped of my top 5 most wanted games list, for the time being and don't expect anything better from our local reviewers.

What the heck is that suppose to mean? Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne d'Arc are hardcore games .

Famitsu marked down WKC for being too much like the games you mentioned. If they were excellent then why isn't it now? I'm all about the "If it aint broke don't fix it" Also those games didn't have online. Another one of their qualms was that it was hard to communicate online. If this game didn't have online I'm sure it would have scored just as well as those games because they wouldnt of had that reason to mark down points. Seriously, think about it. They got points marked down because of communication online. Was that even gonna be a reason you were gonna buy the game? The length I can't comment on.

Yet most of there money comes from professor Layton.

Layton= Casual= main profits = casual developer.

That's why I hate online functions in games like these, they always mess up the game somehow... No I'm not really a fan of online gaming, still 7,7,7... and then okay an 8? Did they really have to be so harsh on those scores only because of the online part? They're never harsh on Square Enix games?! Children of Mana, Last Remnant, crap games that got high scores. It doesn't make any sense.

Oh well, it will take at least 6 months before we'll get to see the game around here... best is to wait what reviewers around here have to say around the time the game releases in the West. But I slightly fear for the Japanese sales.
