Forums - Gaming - Famitsu White Knight Chronicle score (29/40)

higher than TLR? Oh my...3

either this game is inferior shit to TLR, or Famitsu's the shit. I'll wait for it's release and other game reviews in other sites until then...

Another funny thing is that they keep on repeating to point that "chat issue" while they didn't addressed the TEKNIKAL FLAWZ of TLR fk'n ROFL

the problem with this game is Famitsu usually gives higher score than the game deserve, a lower score should scare us.

 This is my biggest concern.

The game always looked meh. Not surprised.

This is very bad new....

Holy crap that's bad.

I was expecting much higher....I wonder what their gripes are with the game?

Much higher like The Last Ramnent (38/40)?  The western reviewers apparently don't think that way :)  Famitsu's review starandard for JRPG seems to be far different from the western reviewers recently.  Anyway...

I am very surprised to see such a mediocre score for WKC.  From what I read, those four reviewers' major concerns for WKC is the lack of voice chat for online play (what? are they reviewing a JRPG or a MMO?) and the control scheme is too simple as a JRPG (hey, it may actually be a good thing!?).

Stay tune for gamers' comments after it hits the stores.

I heard that Level 5 is working on the voice chat, they'd better patch it ASAP.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

Ouch, Famitsu is very reliable, too. Weren't people saying it will be this gen's first AAA JRPG? Yeah, so much for that. I'll leave that up to Star Ocean 4 and FFXIII, thank you very much.

They gave Haze a 35/40.  >_>

The gist of the review from gaf:

--lots of optional content
--big boss battles
--simplistic combat
--customizable combos
--is basically like every other Level 5 RPG.
--Online has chat issues and a reviewer "hopes it will be patched in the future"
-- 30 hours to complete

Lol. I guess we can take Famitsu's rating like a pinch of salt.

I bet that if Famitsu have gave a 40/40 to WKC, no one would be complaining about the credibility of the magazine.

No, we'd be getting a bunch of people caliming that Famitsu's reviews are only based on hype, and thus aren't credible.
