Just looked at my old posts, I'll bring up a few things people probably don't know.

• In Japan, Gran Turismo 3 hit 1.7m copies when the PS2 userbase was at 5.6m. That's above a 30% attach rate.
  
• If a 30% attach rate seems unbelievable, look at Halo 3. In the US it was above 45%, now it's around 42%.

Basically, as long as it can do well in Japan, and can keep around a 20% attach rate in Others/America, it may be able to pull it off (assuming the PS3 sells at least 45m consoles).

10 million is far from guaranteed, but it has a much better shot than people think. I just don't see how people can put its sales around MGS4, that's far too low...

PS3 doesn't have the gorwth rate the PS and PS2 enjoyed so the sales tail year after year will be smaller than previous iterations.

heres my input, gt did well on the ps and ps2 because most people were on it, now many people have jump ship and gone over the 360 so for gt to bring in 10 million will be a challenge.

Maybe. PS3 will likely have to hit 40 or 50m first.

Initial D...for the ps3...i know it's japanese version...but it's good still...i can't read japanese either..but by trial and error i figured out wat is wat....but yeah..online mode is alot of fun too...if ur a fan of initial d the animation...u'll love it even more then...

It has a chance at 10 million. I would say 8 to 10 million range for GT 5. PS3 install base may prevent the game from reaching 10 million sales. PS3 is a far cry from the high sales of PS2.
