As someone else in the thread said, it is probably based on games and not reliablility. Either way would be fine for me as I purchased mine this year so it would make me feel safe.

8 out of 10 isn't bashing a game..but MGS4 isn't a game, it's a masterpiece. And you don't give a masterpiece 8 out of 10.
That said, good for LBP and 360. Surprising to see LBP get all 3 of those, I'd expect 2 at best. And while I don't agree at all that the 360 is the best hardware, I do agree that they've given the best experience and I'm pretty sure that's what they meant with the award.
