It really is time for the next title from Bungie. Halo 3 ODST is certainly being done by another team.

Nope, Bungie is doing ODST. They are currently working on two other projects besides ODST though.

 So other larger team working on a new title and holiday 2009 would be the right time to release.

I think everyone is under estimating the power of Halo 3: Recon... when it sells 2 million on it's first day just remember some of you were thinking it wouldn't be a killer app... the story mode aside it's suppose to be upgraded MP from Halo 3... that's enough to score it 3 million by the end of next year I think... after all isn't Halo 3 sitting around 8 million?

I agree that it will sell a ton, but that's not at all what a killer app is.
