What is there to do in Valkyria Chronicles after you finish the main story? Anything?

Yes, there is a New Game+, you have medals, and a few other things. The game itself is around 40 hours, and the skirmishs and getting "A" ranks takes time and skills.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Both VC and Fallout 3 are great games, but I felt Fallout 3 was better. You should get both though. I rented LBP and wasn't impressed.

Valkyria Chronicles and LittleBigPlanet are both great choices. Both are extremely high quality games that I would recommend to just about anyone.

I can't say much for Fallout 3 as I haven't played it. It seems to be similar to Oblivion. If you liked Oblivion, then you might like it.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Fallout is a great WRPG, my only gripe is the same as with Oblivion, main quest is only 6 to 8 hours and you're forced to do side quests if you want to get your money worth.

As for Valkyria, main story takes more than 30 hours to complete and has a lot of replay value (new characters, harder mode, medals, skirmishes and side missions : if you wait to finish the the main story before trying them out). VC is also very addictive and very challenging at times and thanks to varied situations, landscapes, objectives and mid-battle surprises the game never becomes tedious or overly repetitive.

All in all : I had a lot of fun with Fallout3 and an even greater fun with VC (I've finished the game and I'm still playing it, that says it all!)
