Is there anybody here who played both Valkyria chronicles 1 and 2 who can let me know whether the sequel is as good as the first??

@stokedup, i think the 1st game is still the best, but the sequel does a nice job of improving in some areas. Overall i think u will be happy with the 2nd game.

Well I eventually decided to finally finish Rogue Galaxy, since I had left my save at chapter 8 when I got FFXIII and never picked it up. Gonna put Star Ocean and Ressonance of Fate on the backburner again.

Also decided to finally play MH3U on my 3DS. I got it on the summer promo when it was 20€ but never picked it up until last week. It's kinda odd playing it on the handheld though, the controls felt much smoother and intuitive on the Wii.

haven't really played for console for weeks now, ive started getting back into my rock climbing again as i want to be able to take my daughter when shes old enough. so im struggling to find time, also tbh there's not much out at the moment that is grabbing my attention. i always check back here to see what other people are up to.

(there is a spoiler in this post but it's blanked out) I recently downloaded Metal gear Solid Ground Zeros for PS4, id always planned on getting it but just didnt want to pay full price for whats basically an introduction to an unreleased game and PSN has currently got it up for £7 :)

I'm massively impressed with it, yes its short but the gameplay feels awesome and what happens in that short amount of time is really gripping, although i was sad at what happens to Paz, i liked her in peacewalker and was hoping she was going to cut ties with cipher (which by the tape recordings it seemed she was on the verge of doing so) and join MSF for rea,also sadly it seems she got massively tortured aswell :(. Anyway after playing it i can say with ease that phantom pain has just shot to the top of my most wanted list along with Final Fantasy XV. I watched a couple of gameplay vids from TGS14 of MGSPP and it looks even more impressive Kojima has really put everything into this and i reckon it will pay off.

Finished bravely default over the weekend, I enjoyed the game so much in the beginning, but the last half or so of the game is just so, so, so, so bad, I wound up hating the experience overall. Reminded me of xenogears and xenoblade, those games just couldn't close for anything.
