From what has been shown so far, Skyrim is going to be epic. It seems that Bethesda is managing to pull off the same breathtaking feeling that Morrowind had, couple with the beauty of the surrounding world of Oblivion. The best of Elder Scrolls coming together

@lestatdark, very true.  do u think umbra name of a character or of a sword again will make appearance like the last 2 elder scrolls games ?

It probably will, since the Umbra Sword has become Elder Scrolls lore after it's first appearance in Morrowind.

Since the canon of Oblivion dictates that the Daedric Prince Claevicus Vile is the one who owns the sword now (since the option to give him the sword in the quest is the canon one), it will probably be a Daedric realm quest.

@lestatdark, true. i am excited for skyrim very much. i wonder if the next elder scrolls game is going to be the mmo that has been in dev for awhile. i surely hope so, i would sign up for that game without hesitation.  :)

Wouldn't it be super awesome if all the previous lands and new ones were in that mmo? It's kinda like the idea of a fallout mmo. If they could manage something like that, an open sandbox world, the _size_ of north america. It would be a truly awesome experience.

@dharh, i agree. :)  hell if they did that, they would never need to do any expansions or dlc , cause to do all the quests and missions and stuff . would take u years to do just that stuff.

just wondering cause i am currently only playing my ps3 with wife. the 360 is being played offline right now, due to our gaming room being remodeled. 

My top three (alright top 5 hard to choose just 3 and im cheating a little more...)

There are so many games coming out this year thats its going to be difficult to keep up, my goodness.  Also, if mmorpgs count then guild wars 2 would have to be number 4 for me, as well as diablo 3 but I doubt that will come out this year.  I havent seen enough of Deux Ex to determine whether or not I will purchase it, especially since dragon age 2 drops the same day and theres no way im not getting that game.  One game that isnt getting much mention on here is disgaea 4, is NOONE interested in it?  I cant freakin wait until it comes out personally.
