Can I also ask you what are your current levels for your party and what gear are you using? I'm almost near the final stretch of the game, with my main vocations being Minstrel (Lvl 41) for my Main Character and I also have a Mage (Lvl 40), a Warrior (Lvl 41) and a Priest (Lvl 40).

My Main Character has: Über Miracle Sword, Ogre Shield, Phantom Mask, Ethereal Armour, Murky Mittens, Transparent Tights, Safer Shoes and Elfin Charm

Mage has: Hieroglyph Staff, Ethereal Shield, Spellward Circlet, Xenlon Robe, Gloomy Gloves, Seabreeze Skirt, Sorceress Sandals and Sorcerer's Ring

Warrior has: Inferno Blade, Silver Shield, Veteran's Helm, Sacrosanct Armour, Gloomy Gloves, Seabreeze Skirt, Safer Shoes and Meteorite Bracer

Priest has: Demon Spear, Ethereal Shield, Happy Hat, Twinkling Tuxedo, Ethereal Gloves, Gigasteel Kneecaps, Sheepskin Shoes and Spirit Bracer

Hmmm, did you forget to make your party in Stornway? You have to talk to patty in the Inn to make it.

yep ,pretty much ,left the inn got some gear met the king and headed out .

I suggest that you at least create a Priest, they're invaluable to keep you alive. You can also make an offense-oriented priest, if you focus on Spear or Staff skills. Mine is a Spear user and currently does the same damage as my Minstrel, while keeping to the back line.
