Unfortunately he got beat, alot, but he beat did win once. It would just be a shame if people could use mics on that game, and I hope if they ever offer that option, you can turn it OFF using parental controls.

I didn't even notice a USB port on the Wii before, I'll have to check this when I get my Wii back.

@all - alas, keyboard doesn't work with Opera (web browser). They need to add some special code to fix this up (although it should work with the "standard" text dialog that Opera uses for everything? Or not?)

VoIP is fine - as long as you KNOW the person you are talking to.

Maybe texting will have a much bigger role in Animal Crossing...?

so anyone else able to confirm / deny this. I don't have a usb keyboard. However, if this becomes a feature in online games i will buy a wireless one.

I find it odd why we always have to figure out the new stuff updated from Nintendo by ourselves. Either way this would be wonderful news because I'm screaming for a keyboard to support the browser and messageboard for months. Does anybody know which specific type of keyboards will work? Oh yes would be handy if the keyboard will also work with the PS3 as well. And if someone will test the browser can you please let us know here if it works? Although I doubt it will work considering the fact other people are saying keyboard option only works with the message board.

Edit: Are???? New surprising feature!!! When I'm in the WII menu and there's a new message, my screen makes a sound and the envelope starts blinking like... hello you've got new messages!

I've been hearing good reports about Logitec keyboards. My dell keyboard is a rebadged Logitec too.
