Afterwards I got a popup about some Antivirus 2009 needing to be cleaned from my PC. Just a heads up.

same thing happened to me. Download ad-aware and AVG, they both have free versions.

I was using Google Chrome, newest version. Against my better judgment, I bypassed the warning message they gave me.

I ran smitRem and SmitFraudFix in Safe Mode and seems to be free and clear now.
