Forums - PC Discussion - Steam hardware survey results relaunched

Don't know what your PC specs are at all, but here is an example of a single 2 gig stick for $18: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208344

You shouldn't have to pay over $40 for 2 GB of RAM of any type, unless you want unnecessary high end stuff. I paid $30 last week for 2GB of older laptop memory for my sister.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Nifty, glad to see this available again...now if only they would release sales data also =P

I won't hold my breath for that one.

What do they gain by not releasing it anyway?

You think they'd want to release them and be like "look how successful this is.  Everyone should use Steam."

The stores only sell that said high end stuff then, and I thought if I looked online it would be the same price range

"After you win, son, I feel like going for a ride on your bike, haha." ~Doc Louis (Punch Out Wii)

My hardware falls with the averages of DX9, 2GB RAM, 3.2GHz DualCore AMD CPU, Nvidia 8600GT.

PREDICTIONS:
360 will outsell PS3 YTD for 2008. (CHECK!)
360 will have the best showing at E3 & TGS in 2009
2009 will be another year for the 360 over PS3
End OF 2009 SALES :: 360 - 40M;  PS3 - 30M; Wii - 70M

Brick and mortar stores typically sell RAM and other computer parts for much higher than you'd find online.

Newegg.com is hands-down the best place to shop for computer parts.  Maybe tigerdirect.com and their store sometimes, but in general newegg's the best.
