??? The NXE is simply the menu with some graphic bling and avatars right? So comparing it to Home is weird. Anyone who wants a clean and better organized menu will use the XMB. Which is much cleaner and better organized than the blades and even NXE, even if it still lacks some of the functionality.

I wasn't comparing it to Home, I was comparing it to the previous blades. Sorry for not being clear.

i love how everyone whines about Home. what did you expect from an open beta? jezz, give it some time. it hasn't been released even a week yet. i wonder how many people that b#&th and moan about Home even bought anything from the mall to support this fledgling free service. you don't like it then don't use it. pretty simple, huh?

Oh please, be realistic.

Sony has touted HOME as the next big thing even before they released the console, so don't tell me not to gripe about a product that Sony told me was one of the definitive reasons to buy their console.

We are griping about the PSN because Sony is always bragging about how it is better because it is free... Fanboys are always bragging about the PSN because it's free...

Our point is simple: Free doesn't necessarily mean better... and the entire Sony fanbase says that IS what makes it superior to LIVE.

Uh, did you even read what I said? SONY touted HOME as one of the definitive reasons to get a PS3. And yes, Sony has bragged about the free-ness of the PSN.

And yes, I know you are new and wouldn't know, but check out old threads here, and you'll see that Sony fanboys continuosly tout the PSN as being superior because it is free. As a matter of fact, you'll also hear those same people say that because LIVE has a subscription fee that it automatically makes it a second grade service.

So, do me a favor and read what I posted before you respond next time.
