It's Free.

I'm not going to defend this, but if you're going to criticize someone (or in this case, thing), being constructive with it goes over much better.

"It's free" is never an excuse, it's used as one, but it's a poor one. If you hype something up, advertise it, spend years developing it and at the end all you can do is say "it's free, ok?", you have failed.

There's nothing to be constructive about. It's a bad idea. If they want my advice, spend money doing something more worthwhile like advertising to people without PS3s rather than ones with PS3s. If they want Home to be something good that people will use, make version 1.2 a Ratchet and Clank sequel. You click on the little Home icon and it starts up an all new ratchet and clank game, hell even and old one would do. People will like that.

That's basically what every mainstream media "bashing" has been saying, and it is constructive critisism..

Gaming is pointless. In the end it's just entertainment/art like all forms of entertainment/art. It is there to provide fun and enjoyment.

When I first saw the thread title, I thought he was comparing Home with World of Warcraft.

yeh it is boring, i have to admit. and people on home aren't really friendly either...

They're like that after reading so many "PS3 is doomed" threads...
