I don't know. Honestly, I see the PS2 outselling the PS3 and 360 on a monthly basis, well into next year. Neither console is at a mass market price. In fact I think the the PS2 will be the second best selling console this holiday season behind the Wii. I only see the 360 surpassing the PS2 in monthly sales next year and that is only if MS drops the price on the premium 360 to $249.99 or less during the summer or fall of next year.

You of course realize that Madden 08 is coming out for gamecube & xbox, right? Madden will continue to come out on the PS2 for as long as it continues to sell well. Which could be years and years from now. EA doesn't care about quality in this situation. They just want to sell the most games possible. Unfortunately, it tends to work.
