The terrifying statistic is that Sony saw half a million fewer hardware sales year over year. The majority of which well over eighty percent was hardware that actively generated profit. Sony in America just got its silver lining stripped, and its competitors keyed the paint job. The gaming division at Sony is going to be laid bare. That hardware helps to obscure the losses incurred by the PS3. Without those sales its as if there is nothing to staunch the bleeding.
The PS3 selling poorly is of coarse bad. The PSP selling worse is bad. The PS2 going into a death spasm? Clench and go into a fetal position, because this is going to be one hell of a ride. Sony needed that money to buy candy.
I have been saying for a bit I felt the Wii was under tracked.
But I must say I was thinking 1.7-1.8.... not a freaking 2 million.
This is the first time Wii has outsold ALL other non nintendo consoles in a month... Including PS2 and PSP... wow just wow.
When do we get the rest of the top 20?

Sorry for the late bursts but I just got off work. HOLY SHIT, 2 million. The most any console has ever sold in November was PS2 back in 2002 with 1.3 million. This crushed it. What the fuck. And the software sales are ungodly. Not to mention GH: WT on Wii is awesome.
Like PS2, its getting it's best years in it's second full year on the market. PS2 also set the record for a best December with 2.7 million, and god damn that is about to be owned haha. This overkill guys.

well there we go the Wii sells 3rd party games just as well as the PS3 (nvd the 2-3x userbase)

I remember when it was big news when Wii took over xbox lead, things happen so fast.

I guess when you sell 170% more HW that the competition combined... well that kinda loses it affect....
