Does anyone know the LBP numbers? That game should have been made the Wii.

While "The Conduit" should be on the PS360

see I can do that to.....

Best to accept what is....than what isn't.

I agree, The Conduit really should be on PS360.

Generic, bland first person shooters shouldn't be on the Wii.

Looks like supply is finally catching up to demand for the Wii - and this is the result. 360 eats a little sales from the PS3 (price battle), Wii sales explode.

Good night, I'm just gonna sleep and read the rest tomorrow. Looking forward to MS and Nintendo's spin.

What in gods name does Year to date growth mean?

It's PS3 January-November 2007 sales compared to PS3 Jan-Nov 2008 sales. Needless to say, since the performance of the PS3 was very pitiful in the first half of 2007, this year to date growth bragging Sony used all year long, doesn't mean much. I think after the first half of this year, the year to date growth exceeded 100 %.

Wouldn't that be Year on Year? They say year to date. Now if use vgchartz data I get 40% improvement year on year and 70% year to date, so I don't know what to say.

Sqrl is the master of these terms, we better ask him.

I can't say for sure either what Sony means.

*laughing hard falling off chair*

"SHIT! We are doing really bad this month. Quick. Let's invent something that we can gloat about"

"... .... How about Year to date! Noone ever heard that term before. We can use that and make up some percentages that look good"

"Good thinking!"

I just meant a good game like that deserves a wider more accepting base.  The PS3 was the wrong console for that game.

Has anyone mentioned Ferarris selling less than Toyotas yet?

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)
PC: 10^9
Wii: 10^8

I wanted Sony to win, but there's no way that they are going to. But I don't want to see the little fluff bunny win either. Go 360 Go!

I agree. Why go with the console that is selling 1/5 of the Wii, when you can go with the one that sells 1/3?

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

The PS3 numbers aren't the worst news for Sony. The really bad part is that both PSP and PS2 sales are way down. Those are products that shouldn't be affected by the economy.

They're also the cash cows of the gaming division.

Its done well while it lasted - but the PS2 is now officially dead (in US anyway). I think the increased availability of the Wii, combined with the regular 'gaming' releases on the 360/PS3 has finally killed it off.

...

If December is anything like Nov (and with most of the big releases out of the way, why wouldn't it) - its going to be a really, really bad qrt for Sony.

Last year, the lack of supply of the Wii to market badly skewed the results - things are now to the way they would have been, if there wasn't supply issues.

@RolStoppable - Testosterone games. That's an awesome term. Mind if I steal it?
