Might be just ioi adjusting the numbers for some reason. He does that quite a lot when new information turns up.

 I declare this to be quite reasonable, and I want to quote it for emphasis because of that.

When american numbers showed up wii was at a mere 20 k from PS3. and with japanese numbers it went 40k agan which is where it actually started.

I think if nintendo supplies extra american wiis for metroid prime3 launch it could happen this month.

Also I guess x360s price drop could affect somehow PS3 sales in america....

So I was having some fun in here yesterday. Work was boring and I wanted to spice it up. Yes, seeing all these ego based threads on one console's current domination on another just get tiresome to see. I also thought it would be fitting to do so in a thread where the OP added in the caveat "not trynna (sic) start a flamewar" since this type of topic invites it to happen.

What should have happened is that this thread should have been locked long ago because it was inviting flames.

I can however see the wii jumping ahead of ww ps3 numbers compared to wii america sales for the short term, but really won't matter because the PS3 will improve in sales as good games begin to be released here this fall and then the xmas season is upon us. And, when will we know where the point is that demand finally falls below supply for the Wii? That could have another impact as well and honestly, many of us just don't know where that point will be.
