Not so much, but form the look of these small pictures, I think it's safe to say that FFXIII games will be a normal cliché RPG but in awesome high definition.

There is so much work needed to reinvent RPGs, and this game doesn't look like to be the one to do that...

Anyway, we are just a couple day away from seeing FFXIII and Versus XIII realtime footages, so I can't say much till that day.

well... that little thing doesn't necessarily mean world map. FFXII had a screen like that, but it was for teleporting and arrowy thingies.

I smelling Kingdom Hearts at those little Versus Xiii pictures.. I hope it won't be a mindless button smasher.. I hate button smashing 40+ hours.. it doesn't look too hot.. small confined places.. but thats probably the size of the tiny pictures.. but the scenery is alway looking good in a FF.. I have to see more!!!

Very nice, im impressed, im glad they kept Versus XIII to be exclusive over regular it was a good choice imo.

Quality of the images makes it hard to make out some things. But I think we're seeing some new interesting stuff on the Versus side of things. There's some stuff that looks world map-ish, which is nice, I love a good world map. And you know, it's actual gameplay screenshots showing a couple of different environments.

Also!!!!: There's a little drawing of a city and a mountain off in the distance, and in between, something that looks like an airship in the top right hand corner, in amongst the screenshots. So we might be seeing world maps with airships. But its hard to make out some things, so it could just be something completely random.

Anyone here that can read the stuff on the white board?

 I wonder how you've come to that conclusion. Because it actually looks like both these games are going to be absolutely unique.

   Ontopic: Versus obviously uses world map, XIII I think doesnt. And it looks like there are many gameplay screens there .. 

 well if you see one of the pictures there is a landscape like a valley and a mountain and there is a little city like if it were a worldmap.
