they should be, nintendo only makes $6 dollars off the wii. and the wii has a weaker graphics card, and weaker processor which means its cheaper hardrive. not to mention its a lot smaller so less needed to make one

MS may lose money off their consoles, but they make their money with the $50 gold suscription needed to play online, and they advertise a lot on the dashboard (360 version of the XMB). every where you go there is a advertisement, both related and unreleated to games

sony now only loses $60 off each console, before that number was at $240 for the 60GB, and $200 for the 20GB. if you buy two ps3 exclusives, they bascially got their money back and a little extra so profit isn't a issue, espically since home is coming tomorrow

if home is sucessful that will be a sony money machine because companies will pay sony to have their own space in home, or advertise which again sony will make money out of it.

nintendo and sony have more issues making money due to their strong currency. it does not effect microsoft in the same manner.

Most estimates have the 360 capable of breaking even but most likely taking a small loss per unit since the recent price cut.

I hope yall realize that while yes, they lose money with each PS3 sale, they lose even more money if they don't sell that console at all. Sorry to ruin the damage control there.
