I didn't know Wii was so down compared to last year.
But hopefully the announcement of DQX will drive sales next week.

Yes definitely good numbers. Animal Crossing is showing the good legs we all thought it would have bug still needs to get through that first shipment haha which was 800,000. But, from the looks of it, it'll stay in the 70k-100k at least for the rest of the year as drops this week were very minimal.

Fallout 3 opens quite nicely while Pro Evo 08 on PS3 doesn't do that bad on the drops for a sports game. And of course the long lasting DS games never cease to surprise me.

the sad thing is.... this is what the norm was for sales most times of the year in Japan not too long ago... Maybe a little higher... but really shows how far Japan has fallen.

I really wish Wagamama Fashion: Girls Mode would come to America. I'd hate to admit it, but I'd like to play it. Insane legs for it, too - 3x multiplier and still doing 40%+ of it's debut each week.

Wagamama Fasion has to be one of 2008's surprise hits...Hands down.

What about Bimoji? That thing sold like 425k.

Wii is at half of where it was the same week last year.

Consoles sales for Japan are pathetic for all platforms.

To be honest for the time of year these aren't huge numbers. The only one I'm impressed with is Fallout 3. I take it DSi is sold out, so at least for that it should be a supply problem. Everything else is pretty mediocre.

The PS3 and Wii will only go up from here. Especially Wii after that DQX announcement.

Nice sales for everyone, and very good on software too.
