Well according to this site, it has only sold 250k.

But according to http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/motorstorm-pacific-rift-passes-one-million-sales, it has already sold 1 million.

Now I'm sure somebody is going to come in here and say "it's 1 million shipped", but I'm not about to believe that there's over 700k units in shelves.

So what am I supposed to believe?

It wouldn't surprise me if there really was 700k sitting on store shelves, remember, this was meant to be a huge game that would sell truckloads and be AAA. (Of course many failed to realise that the original motorstorm came out when PS3 had very few good games, and since then many many many awesome racing titles have come out).

So it doesn't surprise me that some retailers had overshot their sales predictions.

Meh I dunno retailers see at pre-oders how a game is goin to sell, I would say that VGchartz is undertracking Motorstorm a little bit and there's about 400k still on the shelves (sounds realistic)

I don't see how it could possibly be 1 million sold, judging by how MS PR charted. It's tough to believe there is that many copies on shelves, though. It's a pretty confusing situation.

They have this neat feature on here where you can search the forums. They also break it down into brand-specific forums that you can check to make sure you're not making a thread that's already been made before, more than once.

I think that MS PR might be slightly undertracked in Europe but certainly not that much.
