Why do wii fanboys post ?

This is the thread title - Help from PS3 owners

 No you gave me a list of games that are going to be out for the rest of the PS3's life not just for this year.  Just because the game is out now doesn't mean "OMGZ i have to buy it now!!!"

I did read your entire post, several times actually. I usually do that before responding, maybe you should try it since you seemed to completely ignore every point I made.  

I am content to let him make up his own mind, which is why I stipulated that if BR was a concern that it was worth it.  You seem to reject any sort of personal thinking whatsoever, and believe that everyone should buy a PS3 right now regardless. Am I wrong?

In short, Hus you need to stop this trolling.  The guy is asking for advice on whether to buy a PS3.  He doesn't want fanboys in here screaming BUY BUY BUY.  He wants incite into the thoughts of other reasonable people.  I have been wrestling with my second console purchase for some time and gave the guy my incite. If you have a problem with the fact that for some people the PS3 is not worth it right now then you can go talk to sony about that. But for the rest of us who don't want to pay $500 and then wait several months for games, well we are gonna do something else with that money for now and later on when all the games are out we will come back and decide if its worth it.

Are you a PS3 owner ? if not why are you posting?  You are giving opinions on something you dont own thus cant really give him the opinion he wants, he specificly asked for PS3 owners.  Maybe if he wanted the opinions of wii and 360 owners he would have posted this in "gaming" and would have not asked for PS3 owners.

ACTUAL OPINION ON TOPIC, NOT JUST FANBOYISM

I like the hard ware a lot, the Xross Media Bar is the best of all the dashboards. The graphics to look nice, Sony accommodates audio/videophiles with the post processor hardware that goto the outputs. Image appears alittle brighter on the TV, than the 360 but not as bright as low-res videos on the web appear.

The actual graphics on ported games from 360 don't look as good, but this is just lazy porting. The PS3 has less ram, but it is faster and has a hard drvie (in every one) so devs could easily make up for the lack of ram, but don't. Some of the exclusive games look better than anything that has been done on 360.

The Six-Axis feels exactly like the old dual shock, but it is lighter and has motion control (which isn't as good as Wii motion control). I prefer the 360 controller, but the Six-Axis is nice too. (Actually I prefer the Wii-Mote.

Games... ah, yeah. Motorstorm is really good. Um, there's potential. I should tell you that this is the real kicker, there are no games so good RIGHT NOW, where I can honestly reccomend that you buy one right away.

 Because I am in the exact same position as him.  I have been debating the same purchase for a while now. So I came into the thread to read what people had to say about the console since the information was useful to me as well.  Then I decided to add to the value of the thread with my informed opinion.  Rather than spouting fanboy propaganda like "the ps3 is like air!" I gave logic and reason for my opinions, because I felt we had a lot in common. Thats what you're supposed do on a forum, you read a thread and add to it.

In any case, I have made my point now so I will leave you folks.  I don't wish this to turn into a flame fest, I just wanted to give my incite to the OP, and I have.

Here goes my review

The Playstation 3 is a expensive machine for sure but its also pretty clear for anyone that has one that the machine is of high quality and has a massive potential .

The machine has a great building quality ,its rock solid ,doesnt make noise and although it expulsates a lot of hot air it doesnt overheat or get too hot even if you have it connected for hours and hours .Plus ,the touch buttons ,the wiresless joypad with built in batteries ,the slick XMB and everything adds to create a great impression about the machine .

It has a lot of capabilities ,and those increase further and further with each firmware update .Righ now in addition to playing PS3 games you can play PS1 and PS2 games ,browse the internet ,use wallpapers that you can dowload directly from internet ,have your friends lists ,use it as a media center ,play DVD ,play Blu Ray movies in HD ,upscale the resolution of the DVD movies to better fit a HD screen,improve the PS1/PS2 games resolution ,view photos ,use the PSP memory sticks in it ,use the SD card ranure to view your photos as well ,play music ,rip a music CD into its tracks ,access the Playstation Store and Network ,play online for free to great games as Motorstorm Resistence or NBA2K7,use any USB or Bluetooth device ,use the Folding Home application to help fight against the cancer ,plus the Home application that will turn the Playstation 3 online into something very ,very special .

As for games the lineups seems still a bit thin but looking closer it is easy to see it has more games than the Wii and more than the 360 last year .It has already a bunch of great games as Ninja Gaiden Sigma ,The Darkness ,Resistence Fall of Man ,Motorstorm ,Virtua Fighter 5 ,Virtua Tennis 3 ,Oblivion ,Call of Duty 3 ,FEAR ,NBA 2K7 ,NHL 2k7 ,MLB THe Show ,Rainbow Six Vegas ....plus some neat games from the PSn as the great Super Stardust HD ,Calling all Cars ,Flow or Tekken Dark Resurrection .In Japan they have some games as Hot Shots Golf 5 (Everybodys Golf ) and Folklore that should arrive here in October .In less than a month you will have also Madden 08 ,Lair ,GRAW 2 ,Warhawk ....the lineup is starting to look a lot better .

As for games coming the rest of the year looks grand with games as Assasins Creed ,Ratchet and Clank ,Heavenly Sword ,Lair ,Stranglehold ,Unreal 3 ,Haze ,Eye of Judgement ,Uncharted Drakes Fortune ,Socom COnfrontation ,Burnout Paradise ,Army of Two ,Pro Evolution Soccer 08 ,Devil May Cry 4 ,Gran Turismo 5 Prologue ,Quake Wars ,Sega Rally Revolution ,COlin Mc Rae Dirt ....

In resume the machine is great ,has great potential ,its free online is about as good as it gets and more than enough to keep happy 85% of players ,the retrocompatibility is very good ,has tons of multimedia possibilities ,works like a charm and has a rock solid production ,has already very good games and great games coming and the support of nearly all the industry (excepting MS and Nintendo thats it ) .Thats pretty much what you need to know .

...don't forget to mention its unique ability to deal massive damage to giant enemy crabs.

And it has REAL TIME WEAPON CHARGING!
