The Microsoft Xbox 360 is doing very well.

On December 31th, looking at this year objectives, Microsoft execs review:

Outsell PS3 this year. .DONE.

Gain strong momentum leading to 2009. .DONE.

Succeed NXE transition. .DONE.

Strongly reduce RROD by hardware revision (Jasper). .DONE.

Gain marketshare in "oh-difficult-to-penetrate" Japan. .DONE.

just below 500k units ain't bad at all. Considering one of those is 8 years old and it's 2 competitors at it's height are long gone.

 

 

360s turn around is quite substanial, it makes little sense when you think that at one point 360 was cheaper then Wii and PS3 and didn't outsell it, now it's cheaper then it was but a bit more and it's competing with the Wii in some nations...what changed really other then the price?
