lol, no i suppose not, but thats just from what I've seen. look- the games that sell 3mil+ copies are mostly shooters. most people who play just shooters play strictly shooters and don't give about other games, including handhelds.

most of the people I've seen with 360s don't have any other console.

they would need 1st party games and that would end up affecting their console games. The GC suffered from lack of games due to some of their devs working on ds and gba games. But Nintendo has grown their dev teams nicely and seem to be pumping out games for both with np.

I could see MS going the Ipod route with games on the Zune but an actual gaming system seems out of the current plans.

Honestly, the handheld market is a good market, lot's of profit in it if you do it properly. However I think while MS may have designs on it they may not be able to produce a successful handheld. Many of their big sellers are not condusive to a travel market, with a few exceptions and the ones that would work could all easily be done on the DS. I feel like perhaps MS should just get a name for themselves on a Nintendo handheld and then try to delv into their own venture.

Dude, you are just piling up proof-less assumption after the other. On the basis of the anecdotal evidence drawn from your environment you are throwing up broad generalizations.

I think you are way off... between the PSN and XBOX Live, I have about 20 friends that I am also friends with in real life, and we all play FPS' together but also play Sports, RPG, Action/Adventure, Strategy games as well... just look at my game list, it's pretty diverse. 

Also, all of my friends have at least two of the three consoles out now, and I have all 3 of them... so I think you are being short-sighted.

I believe they will try to integrate their zune and a portable games device through furure iterations. Much like apple is trying to do with the iphone and ipod touch.

Yeah I think they're going to go the way of the Iphone with future versions of the Zune mp3 players. Like the Iphone, it will have some games but it will likely be viewed as a secondary or bonus feature to the phone/mp3 functions. Hence why the Iphone isn't tracked??
