Killzone3, have you actually played Mario Party 8?

I'd guess no.  But in his mind "Mini-games = Crap" so it wouldn't matter how good it was.  All the Mario Party games are fun though.  Usually only with friends though since the computer Ai's really suck.

The only major disadvantage I'd say the game has is that there's no online (which always seems to be the biggest complaint). It's one of the major reasons I didn't bother purchasing it. My boyfriend & I did go over to his friend's place and played it for a few hours one night and it's still a really fun game. It's basically no different than complaining about Madden #15 because little more than an update to the roster occurs each year. And yet people still purchase the game every year and the reviews rarely reflect the fact that it's the same old thing. I will likely be buying MP9 when I can play it online with my friends in different states.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

We played Mario Party for a while because we figured the Wiimote controls would freshen the game up a bit. And it did I suppose.

I don't know if Mario Party's a good game to have online play though...it'd probably get boring if you're not having fun with people there...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I think the point has gottent a little derailed ... Here is a listing of the North American sales of most noteable third party release for the Wii

Ubisoft:
Rayman Raving Rabbids (530,267)
Red Steel (398,601)
Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (88,863)

Atlus:
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (206,055)

Majesco:
Cooking Mama: Cook Off (152,060)

Activision:
Call of Duty 3 (322,191)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (248,504)
Spiderman: The Movie 3 (188,792)
Tony Hawk Downhill Jam (141,170)
Rapala Trophies: Pro Tournament Fishing (125,291)

Sega:
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (320,600)
Sonic and the Secret Rings (287,020)

EA:
Madden NFL 07 (386,601)
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 (335,017)
SSX Blur (115,064)
Need for Speed: Carbon (144,938+)
The Godfather: Backhand Edition (approx: 50,000)

Capcom:
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (230,575)

ATARI:
Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (144,990+)

Konami:
Elebits (121,913+)

I'm not convinced that any of the publishers would be disapointed with these sales knowing what these games were; certainly, Ubisoft can't be happy with Farcry Vengeance and EA may not be happy with Medal of Honor: Vanguard but they should be aware that these games were of such low quality that they couldn't sell well.

OOOOO, I'm happy that Blur sold that many units, hopefully it turned a profit. I was very happy with the graphical style of the game. BUT WE NEED A SEQUEL WITH ORIGINAL TRACKSSSSSSSSS. CUMMON EAAAA, your actually near the realms of becoming a respected console developer.

Please stop using facts and logic, it inhibits KillZone3's ability to troll.

Grow up and stop trolling.

I have a question can you get banned for creating a thread, point out an articel and say it was a good read and then disaper with out answering any of those claiming that it is rubish. I think this thread is as close to trolling you can get, and so far I haven't seen Killzone3 explain why he thought it was a good read.

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

Vgc mentality, if you arent blindly pro wii its trolling.

Ya know. I like how it's been explained that the PS2 did so well because it had huge 3rd party support. And tons of those 3rd party games were crappy. But now, that the Wii is getting 3rd party support, and inevitablely crappy 3rd party games come along with that, it's a terrible thing.

 Its just a small difference.
