Because more people prefer Wii Music. Believe it or not, but just because you like a game doesn't mean other people will. I personally have zero interest in LBP. Wii Music, on the other hand, isn't a game I'm interested in buying but I'll play it with my nephew.

Guitar Hero and Rock Band are targeted at an older, although overlapping demograhic. You have to be a certain size to handle the instruments.

Also among the younger crowd 60 some different instruments is a big draw
