It's about Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, not PS3 technicals (which you can find me praising sometimes, I am far more a tech enthusiast than a Playstation fan in general, actually someone who never owned a PS2). I however think Sony has the best exclusive games lined up and available for me.

With regard to Motorstorm: Pacific Rift I wrote on VGChartz: "Still not sure if I'm going to get Pacific Rift. I prefer fewer kick ass tracks vs double the amount so-so tracks."

"I agree, the demo is a little underwhelming for me as well"

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

 o_O.........Get one.................

this game is insanely fun.

it's burnout in jungles.

the demo level is in fact the worst/most simplistic level of the game.

did you try online?the game runs so smooth you can't really tell if you are playing online or offline.

I just don't understand the complaints MS:PR is getting due to demo.it's like i m playing a different game.

I have a PS2 compatible launch PS3. If I had old enough kids (I don't have kids), I would probably buy them a PS2 and/or a Wii for in their bedrooms. The PS2 was only 79 Euro at Media Markt when I visited the store recently.

I bought God of War 1 & 2 and Ape Escape 2 & 3 for my PS3. I know there are many more great PS2 games worthy of playing, but I just lack the time. I am already flooded by buying R2, LBP and M: PR recently.

Glad to see you got ape Escape, I found those games very addictive and don't understand Sony to not bring a new one on PS3.

I have read a new Ape Escape is under development for the PS3, but I guess they will wait until a cheaper (slimline) PS3 gets released. At least that would make sense to me. It's a very casual/kid/woman appealing game and currently the PS3 userbase seems dominated by adult males (though usually with families).

I don't think a sequal has priority right now compared to games like Killzone 2 and God of War 3.

i got motorstorm2 on day one and indeed the demo sucks.
the game is just awesome and plays better then the first one and is a little bit easier.
i also like that you dont have to install it and you can see how much you have progressed in the game also with trophies.

Well, I actually liked the demo. I was planning on picking this game up soon, but I have no money atm. My only problem with the track on there was that it was really short, but if it's one of the worst ones as you said, then I can't wait to try the full game out!

I was underwhelmed by the demo, will probably buy this when it's $30 though.

How's the load times compared to the 1st one? And is it 2 or 4 player split screen?
