Hmmm...its hard to say.

I was born in 1982, right around the boom and death of gaming. My memory is very foggy, but I recall my family owning a classic Atari/Intellivision console. Again, I don't remember what type of console it was but it was definitely my first instance of gaming.

But I REALLY started gaming when I was 5 years old. My parents got me and my sister the deluxe NES set with Mario and Duck Hunt for Christmas and it was one of the fondest gaming memories ever.

Since then, I've both a gaming addict and a Nintendo fan. So I would say I've been gaming for around 15 years...

I was 4 years old when I got my Mattel Intellivision with Utopia, B-17 Bomber, MLB Baseball, NFL Football, AD&D, and Astrosmash.

Those were the days...

So that makes my time of gaming 26+ years long.

I have since bought virtually every video game system ever created (even the odd ones)

Since 1997, with my SNES and soon a PS1....almost 12 years ago

Around 96 I touched my first controller and when some Genesis and SNES games started to creep up in the bargain bins. That's how I owned a lot of games for the SNES and Genesis.
