Forums - Nintendo - So when will Night Trap come to the Wii?

Anyone want to make a prediction.  I figure it's bound to happen.

I'll say June 2009.

The Wii cannot handle the awesomeness of grainy Full motion video. It will never happen.

NEVER GONNA HAPPEN ON WII

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I figure every piece of crap software is eventually bound to show up on Wii with motion controls tacked on. Why should Night Trap be any different? Maybe we'll get to use IR to tickle all of the girls in their pajamas.

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.

What would motion controls do for a game in which all you do is press "switch camera" and "activate trap"?

But it would be better for Wii so you can play it with one hand and keep the other hand free for eating snacks.

Did people actually liked that ...... game???? Well at least is better than Zero Ground Texas.

Hopefully never.
