I understand that it's his style but how many movies can you go through with his style. I mean take a look at Will Ferrell I am getting really sick of him in the particular movies he has been in lately.


Look how long it took for people to get sick of Adam Sandler, and his gimic wasn't half as funny.

Look at Jim Carey... who tried some serious stuff and now is just basically making Liar Liar again.

I was terribly disappointed with this movie. The problem with them is that they use unnecessary profanity and disgusting scenes to try and get some laughs. All I see is a lame attempt to make a scene funny. Knocked up was funny, Superbad was bad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall was bad and Zack a Miri was pretty much the last straw for me.

I actually thought it was pretty good. Different from most of Smith's movies, but in a refreshing way.

But our list of Apatow movies that we enjoyed differs quite a bit anyhow. I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall as well as Knocked up but thought Talledega Nights was at best ok.
