Those PS3 numbers a wierd. You never know what it will do. Hell, it may reach 2m by the end of the year, or it could only 1.35m by the end of the year. It's a really streaky console.

Yes WII was released in Japan on Decemeber the 2nd. PS3 on the other hand released on November the 11th, so almost 1 month sooner.

The PS3 zig-zagging from one month to another, is to do with software releases. For example in the week Hot Shots Golf 5 was released, the PS3 hardware sales doubled.
