Also, Sony and Microsoft focusing on eachother is the entire reason they're in the positions they are in. And why they  have failed to innovate ANYTHING in all their time spent as game console makers.

This argument has been around for 2 years now, even though it's been shot to shreds time and time again.

Even if most Serious gamers take a look at the Wii and decide it's not serious enough for them doesn't mean that the less serious gamers are not attracted to the Wii.

Who in their right mind would say that if the wii had not existed, PS3 and 360 would still have seen the same amount of sales? Would you really believe that there are not people out there that chose between a Wii and a PS360? Is it really true that none of the gamers on PS360 enjoys the same games that Wii people do? Are there really no games on the Wii that appeals to the PS360 owners?

The fun gamers of the last generation, the ones that bought the PS2 because of Singstar, Guitar Hero and EyeToy, where did they go? To the PS360 or the Wii?

The Wii is awesome. Why are there so many arguments on this site about 3rd parties "failing" to provide what Wii gamers want on the Wii again? They clearly do provide the goods, because the Wii is awesome, and it has lots of games for gamers.  All PS360 owners know its true.  Why did they even purchase a HD console?  I will never know.

It was. Mostly by angry Sega fanboys that said it would never compete with the Dreamcast and get destroyed. We see how that turned out.

Similarly, Capcom dumped on the PS1 when it stared becoming dominate. They ranted about it watering down games and basically said that only Nintendo is still catering to "real gamers." Amazing, I know, how history repeats itself. This before buzz words like "casual," "hardcore," and "non gamers" were coined.
