it's like difference between first gen game and a second gen game from a company(like Gears1 Vs. Gears 2 or Resistance 1 Vs. Resistance 2),,,yea the difference is that big.

Massive improvements. I mean look at the guy on the rights face and the shape of his head. Very noticable improvements, and looks a lot better now.

Only thing that seems worse is the guy pointing on the new pic but it could be how the lighting is making him look other then that major improvements!

I liked old build too, it had that CGI feeling and look.
Now game looks amazing too, but still, different.

Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
