Today in school I was talking to my Economics teacher during lunch about video games because when I was in his class, I did a current event paper on recent video game news. Anyway, my tenth grade World History teacher was in the room and he heard me telling my Economics teacher about my Atari 2600 and Colecovision and my teacher was like "Oh, I have an Atari 7800." I said that was awesome then he offered it to me with a bunch of games! I'm so excited for school tomorrow. 

That's pretty cool. I just got the Atari 2600 from my parents house along with all of the games. I can't hook it up to any of my tv's though. :(

Edit: By the way do you know what games you will be getting?

That's rad. Both the 5200 and 7800 are great novelty machines to have in your collection. I used to have a 5200 but have no idea what happened to it. I still have a 2600, though.

I went to Radio Shack and bought an RF/Coax converter when I got my 2600.

I wish I had a 5200. But the next console I'm looking for is the Turbografx-16 or the Megadrive.

I will get a converter eventually but when I saw Atari in the thread title I had the urge to play Q*bert and I can't right now.

Congrats on the find. As far as your next console you pick up I recommend the Master System. I'm trying out a few MS ROMs and I'm beginning to like it nearly as much as the NES.

If I ever eventually get some money there is a local game store that has almost every major system and I will raid the place. They don't have games for all of those systems but they have the systems.

I'm quite envious, where I live there are no such stores. Whenever you pick up a new system and are wondering about what games to pick up simply message me, I'm always happy to give some recommendations.
